Rossi: No More eCat Public Tests

Andrea Rossi has confirmed that there will be no more public tests of his eCat technology.

He has of course said this before and then ended up doing more public tests, so there is every reason to believe that this situation will change.  With huge public interest in this and a recent media feeding frenzy it is hard to imagine no more public tests.

eCat 1MW Test Will Be Private

Today we learned that The 1MW eCat Reactor Will Not Be A Public Test Like October 6th Was.

Instead, the test will be carried out privately for a small group of individuals. This group will be made up of consultants and representatives of the as yet unnamed Customer as well as "prominent scientific journalists".  The customer will be monitoring the progress and is ultimately interested in the report results on completion of the test.

Dear Sean Parker, Yes, after the 28th no more public tests, we will be too engaged to manufacture and test for our Customers. We will continue R&D work with Bologna University and Uppsala University, but the work will not be public. Actually, also the test of the 28th will not be public, being a test made by the Customer, with his experts, along a contractual protocol. Anyway it will be the last work with a public report made upon the resulting numbers.

In response to a question Rossi also tells us that "prominent scientific journalists" will be attending the test. The questioner asks "In other words, will this test be the one that finally makes the E-Cat known to the larger public through mass media reports?" Rossi's reply "Yes". 

One immediately thinks of prominent scientific journalists from Nature, New Scientist and all of the other heavyweight mainstream publications, but it remains to be seen if that is what Rossi means by "prominent scientific journalists".  Enough time has passed and enough interesting experiments have taken place to rouse even the most dopey journalist out of their iPhone obsessions, so it certainly makes sense that by now most of the big media would have been making enquiries (perhaps behind the scenes). This 28th Oct test is after all, "The BIG One".

The results of the test may not become known publicly for some time after the experiment concludes (perhaps even weeks), but Rossi seems confident that news of the eCat as a new primary energy source will be delivered to the sleeping goggle eyed masses.

Unlike Rossi, I am less confident that the energy industry and it's political apparatus and media partners will bow in submission to the new kid on the block - LENR. Unless of course the transition to these technologies has been designed to happen this way?

Wired.co.uk's article was cautious, but also very optimistic.  It seems they are preparing themselves for the reality of the eCat being a genuine hope for the future. Why Wired talked to Steven Krivit is a mystery. "According to my analysis, his claim has no scientific credibility," Krivit told Wired.co.uk. The device he claimed to heat a factory in Bondeno seems to exist only on paper." - WTF?

Very interesting in it's own right was that there were representatives from Confindustria present at the test. According to Wikipedia - "Confindustria is the Italian employers' federation, founded in 1910. It groups together more than 113,000 voluntary member companies, accounting for nearly 4,200,000 individuals. It aims to help Italy's economic growth, assisting, in doing so, its members. It is a member of the International Organization of Employers (IOE)." - If the eCat goes on to change large portions of the energy, create jobs and create new industry then it makes perfect sense for these guys to be present.

eCat Tests: Preview Of What's To Come On Thursday 6th October

Not many people know it, but tomorrow is a very big day for the world. If you are only finding out about this now, it is because your media have failed you.  Since January the controlled mainstream press have ignored the single biggest science story in decades despite many attempts to get them to sit up and take notice.

So What Do We Know?

Unlike previous tests, this particular test will last much longer than any previous and this time, will NOT measure steam.  In previous tests there has been much controversy over the measurements of the "dryness" of the steam and the flow rate of the water, therefore questions remained over the true amount of excess power produced.

So instead, tomorrow's  tests will use a heat exchanger in a closed-loop test which should eliminate the controversy over steam.  This should help settle some of the debate for genuine sceptics, but there will always be a hard-core of pseudosceptics who (in the face of conclusive proof) will still deny the truth to the end.

The test is due to start at 12:00 midday and will be conducted in Bologna, Italy.

Focus Magazine is a worldwide science and technology publication owned by the BBC. Journalists from the Italian Focus Magazine will be covering the developments with photos, videos and in-depth reports. A recent translated article from their website said:

"Thursday, October 6 at Bologna began testing a new E-Cat: Focus.it will be present to document the event with photos, videos and interviews. The test will be conducted by Rossi on one of the local EFA (the family business) in the presence of “nuclear physics” – according to Rossi’s own statements.

Wanting to go into the field of hypotheses we can say that will probably present Mauro Villa, University of Bologna (but the test is not attributable to the university) and in all probability there will be no physical Brian Josephson, whose presence seemed to some a few days ago. The test will begin t midday, and the program should continue until late at night.

According to Rossi said, will be very similar to the last test performed with the Swedish NyTeknik except for the fact that the thermal measurements will be taken on a secondary circuit where the water will not be vaporized, to allow you to “read” better efficiency of the system. Last week we contacted the separate UK Based Focus Magazine through their Facebook page.  We asked them "When do you anticipate that Focus Magazine will cover the Andrea Rossi Energy Catalyzer Story that's been going on since January this year? They responded with "Sounds interesting. We'll take a look."  Since their Italian counterparts WILL be there to cover the story, it will be interesting to see whether the English language editions will also follow up on this with their OWN articles.

eCat Impact

The impact of this technology could be unfathomable.  For example, recently Rossi answered a question from a reader relating to the cost of  operating the ecat for 6 months. The reader's guess was "More or less than 250,000.00 USD?” Back came the surprising answer from Rossi - “Few hundreds of euros activate for 6 months the 1 MW plant.” This figure presumably relates mainly to the replacement cost of the specially treated Nickel powder on which each eCat reactor runs.

In a further confirmation of how revolutionary the ecat could be Rossi gave more encouraging news - “I can guarantee you that the E-Cats will have a price that will allow to everybody to pay them. I am working for this, and this is what will give a sense to my work.”

eCat.com Launches With Intriguing Video

The site has been counting down for a few weeks now and finally went live within the last 24hrs.  It's not clear at present exactly who owns the site since the WHOIS information is private - it could be Rossi's business associates and this could be the site which will have the live webcam feed of the ecat test or alternatively just an interested individual with no connection to Rossi whatsoever. Perhaps more will be revealed on October 6th.

I actually like the use of the steam visuals and the song Steam Heat from the 1954 Musical Pajama Game. Very clever.

As usual the supervision of the new test by a Nobel Physics Prize Winner is STILL not good enough for the drooling faceless pseudosceptics, who continue day after day to CONSTANTLY change the goal posts.  Looking at some of the crazy comments today on various blogs it was patently obvious that the pseudosceptics know they are going down.

Their preferred option would be for a shill or a dogma obsessed establishment defender to conduct the tests so that they can try and undermine it somehow. 

The latest video by Mats Lewan shows MASSIVE amounts of steam gushing from the eCat at a fantastic rate - and I couldn't help but notice this amazing piece of footage was conveniently ignored by the lunatic pseudosceptics.

Lunatics?  Why of course they are.  Who in their right mind would want to sabotage or harm the emergence of a new non-polluting energy technology? What type of person would go out of their way to twist and turn every piece of evidence into something it clearly isn't? The PRETENCE of FAKE concern for gullible investors (which is the usual bullshit we hear) cannot be cited in Rossi's case since he is entirely self-funded - so that particular avenue of pseudoscepticism was immediately closed down to them.  And another thing, what kind of complete moron would be even slightly concerned for a super rich investor they've NEVER EVEN MET losing money that he clearly doesn't mind putting down?

Well, the answer is that pseeudosceptics are hell-bent on preserving dogma AT ANY COST even when faced with overwhelming evidence to the contrary.  A brilliant example right now is with the current "Neutrinos Faster Than Light Speed" story. It has been fascinating to watch the big establishment science publications squirm and writhe in agony trying to explain the unexplainable as one of the pillars of modern physics turns to jelly before their eyes.

And what will the pseudosceptics say when eCats go on the market?  What will they say when a BIG name player steps in to remove all doubt?  With nowhere to go the next plan of attack for the drooling lapdogs when finally beaten into submission by the truth will be to grudgingly admit it works, but to state that it is "unsafe" and "dangerous" and to pursue non-existent and false safety issues.

Rossi Energy Catalyzer Further Validated By NyTeknik

Andrea Rossi's Cold Fusion Technology the Energy Calalyzer or "E-Cat" has been successfully validated by Swedish Technology Magazine NYTeknik - Seaparate Test will be on Italian TV News Thursday May 5th

The new tests were conducted in Bologna on 19 and 28 April, 2011. "The objective was to measure the net energy that the device generates as accurately as possible." "The results of the two tests showed a developed net power of between 2.3 and 2.6 kilowatts – of the order of a large stove plate. Input electric power was in the order of 300 watts." Using a smaller e-cat (e-kitten) than normal the team calculated the output power from the amount of water boiled into steam.

This news now provides FURTHER INDEPENDENT validation of Rossi's cold fusion technology after Swedish scientists Hullander and Essen also validated the power output just recently.

In the first test on April 19, the national Italian television channel RAI was present and its report will be broadcast on the channel RAI News (live streaming here) Thursday, May 5th at 20:35. In the second test on April 28 only Ny Teknik, the inventor Andrea Rossi, and a colleague of his were present.
