Can you ask Sean for any bit of update, anything? Everyone wants to know what's happening at Steorn. Why they closed the forum, what are they doing now, when are they going to do something next.
Folks, it's 36 days, 8 hours, 31 minutes and 2 seconds until Friday, January 1, 2010 (UTC time). Hurry up Steorn!
Just playing Devil's advocate here... Based on the last demo, Steorn won't want a big splash. They'd rather the world's press discovered that an Orbo HAS ALREADY BEEN UP AND RUNNING, in public view, for the last n weeks. (This would allow Steorn breathing space to fix any Kinetica-style bugs out of the limelight.) So I think that on New Year's Eve they'll make an announcement that a certain webcam has been showing an Orbo for the last month or so. The demo is probably already running even as we speak. (Disclaimer: I don't think it is, and I have no inside knowledge either way.)
