Happy Christmas SNAKE!

Wednesday, December 7, 2011

Andrea Rossi has his own inimitable style when it comes to language. Entertaining, if nothing else.

Defkalion Spokesman: "“I Know What He’s Got in the Reactor, I Know Everything."

Tuesday, November 29, 2011

According to this new NY Teknik article the University Of Siena ran a spectroscopy of Rossi's eCat at some point and consequently it revealed to them the contents of the reactor, presumably revealing the secret catalyst which enables the Nickel Hydrogen to fuse.

Excerpt of Ny Teknik’s conversation with Alexandros Xanthoulis (Defkalion Spokesman) August 5, 2011

"Let’s say I have the formula of Rossi, but I’m not saying it officially. My scientists found a way to make it. They need three months, but I’m not going to play game behind Rossi. I’m  not a cheater. We started together and if he has to be paid, he will. But his problem is scientifically solved by us.
Because we believe that his reactor cannot operate more than 24 hours.
When we requested 48 it was a problem. But my scientists found out the problems. I cannot reveal it right now. But the problem can be fixed by us. It’s very simple but they didn’t think about it. The same way more than a year ago when Rossi had never thought that his invention could create electricity. He had never thought about it until we told him."

"First of all, the first problem was with 48 hours, that’s for sure. And he had a huge fight with one of my scientists, Mr Hadjichristos, you’ve heard of him most probably, Yiannis, because we were insisting on 48 hours. But we know the problem; we didn’t tell him of course, we know the problem.
I know what he’s got in the reactor, I know everything. It was a spectroscopy (Greek: ‘fasmatoscopy’) made by the university of Siena. It was an equipment made by the University of Siena. It understands everything that’s inside the reactor. So we know the components."

Ny Teknik: Who did that?

"The University of Siena. They tried his reactor without him understanding what they did. They checked it and we know what’s in the reactor. So it’s a matter of two or three months that my scientists can reproduce that, but I’m not going to try it. I’m playing a fair game.

We solved the problem. The problems he’s got, we solved them. Because the problem is that he cannot spread the reaction all over the pipe, and all the heating is concentrated in the middle. So we found the solution."

Rossi In The US To Discuss eCat Production In Massachusetts

Wednesday, November 23, 2011

Andrea Rossi Is In Massachusetts To Meet With MIT (Massachusetts Institute Of Technology) and Govt Officials.

Andrea Rossi, inventor of the world's first commercially viable cold fusion technology - the eCat or (energy catalyzer), arrived at the Massachusetts State House on Tuesday morning for two days of meetings with government officials and representatives of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of Massachusetts and Northeastern University.

State Senator for Massachusetts Bruce Tarr spoke on his blog about his hopes for Massachusetts to become a production centre for eCats and of the tremendous response from the world famous seats of learning such as MIT who are based there.

Speaking about Rossi, he said "Mr. Rossi’s reactor, if successfully proven and developed, has the potential
to change the way the world deals with energy, and I’m pleased that he’s willing to discuss basing its production in Massachusetts."

"The enormous potential of this technology demands that it be addressed by the best scientific minds in the world. Since Massachusetts is the home of some of the best colleges and universities in the world, it makes sense for that process to happen here.

Our institutions of higher learning have been tremendous in their response to this opportunity, and I look forward to working with them."

In April MIT's Peter Hagelstein offered to test the ecat but Rossi's response at that time was no.

"I thank anyway Prof. Peter Hagelstein for his attention. If the MIT is interested to our
product, they can buy a plant, and make all the validations they want, for themselves, and get
from it good heating too, during the hard Bostonian winters ( I lived there for some year, mamma mia, che freddo!)

Warm regards,
A.R."

So what has changed Rossi's mind to make him travel all the way to the US. Could Rossi have reversed his decision and be considering letting MIT getting involved? Or perhaps Rossi is more interested in the potential commercial development opportunities that exist there.

*The State House is the centre of government for the state of Massachusetts. It is the state capitol and house of government of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts located in Boston in the neighborhood of Beacon Hill.

eCat.com - Owned By HydroFusion

Friday, November 18, 2011

A story over at EnergyCatalyzer3.com has identified the company behind ecat.com as UK based HydroFusion.

Hydrofusion's "About" page says the following:

"HydroFusion Ltd was founded in 2011 and is a UK-based company specializing in a number of areas related to fusion energy production, including marketing and sales of E-Cat powered products. HydroFusion’s headquarter is located in London with an office branch in Stockholm."

Their main page says:
"We are facing an era with the arrival of new products based on this game changing technology. The first generation of ECAT 1MW Plants and the smaller ECAT Home Units are scheduled to become available in 2012/13.In association with Andrea Rossi, HydroFusion will introduce these products to the market."

Cheap power: An overnight revolution

Written from the point of view of powering racks and racks of servers in global datacentres.  It would be true to say this would save a vast amount of energy costs for the companies involved, but I can think of 438 more needy applications of eCat technology.  Beer fridge for example.

Anyway, here's the article.
