Rossi: No More eCat Public Tests

Thursday, November 10, 2011

Andrea Rossi has confirmed that there will be no more public tests of his eCat technology.

He has of course said this before and then ended up doing more public tests, so there is every reason to believe that this situation will change.  With huge public interest in this and a recent media feeding frenzy it is hard to imagine no more public tests.

He said

"Dear UClaimExcessEnergy:

Again lecturing about tests !!! We receive 5 to 10 proposals per day to make tests around the world, most of them from competitors, of course. Please, read carefully:

1- we made all the tests we had to make
2- no more public tests will be made, the phase of public tests is over for us
3- we now are no more making test-prototypes, but industrial products
4- the tests of our E-Cats from now on will be made exclusively by our Customers
5- all our next work with Universities (Bologna, Uppsala) will not be public, but restricted and confidential Research and Development activity.

Warm Regards,

Andrea Rossi"

There is a point of diminishing return on public demonstrations of the e-cat. The time for words is over - do you see the garbage Krivit and MaryYugo put out - it is time to prove successful commercialization. Those "critics" will never ever be satisfied. They call for more and better
"tests" to "prove" the e-cat and Rossi are legitimate, but then nitpick every successful demonstration.

As Rossi & team produce and sell 1MW e-cat generators there will be dozens working out there, and at least one of the customers will show their working LENR generator powering their business. Now the standard "skeptic" line is to question if there even is a customer.

Why would a business, who wants cheap power for profit, virtually solicit the tremendously hostile, aggressive, and critical attention of such obtuse and contrary "skeptics?" No, the time for trying to placate such unreasonable and angry "de-bunkers" is over. Let the market place be the judge, whose only ideology is profit and practicality.

This kind of attitude (secret, confidential) kills the technology.

Grow up and open your source and mind.

Why claim to be progressing confidential experiments, whilst still 'advertising' the existence of this thing publically?

It just doesn't make sense.

Just develop it to the standard needed for it to sell, and THEN publicise it! Until then, if Rossi is not prepared to engage with the public, he should not seek the public's attention. This self-serving attention seeking is simply serving to damage what little confidence there is in small-scale privateer science.

It is a very harmful way of going about this, damaging the chances of legitimate future privateer work of attracting funding. But what does Rossi care about anybody else? I guess he does not care. He makes a mockery of the established ways of doing such work, because he only cares about himself.
