A story over at EnergyCatalyzer3.com has identified the company behind ecat.com as UK based HydroFusion.  

Hydrofusion's "About" page says the following:

"HydroFusion Ltd was founded in 2011 and is a UK-based company specializing in a number of areas related to fusion energy production, including marketing and sales of E-Cat powered products. HydroFusion’s headquarter is located in London with an office branch in Stockholm."

Their main page says:

"We are facing an era with the arrival of new products based on this game changing technology. The first generation of ECAT 1MW Plants and the smaller ECAT Home Units are scheduled to become available in 2012/13.In association with Andrea Rossi, HydroFusion will introduce these products to the market."

Germany Dumps Nuclear Power: eCatalyzer Is Ideal Alternative

Germany will shut down ALL of it's nuclear power plants by 2022. 

The ruling party in Germany had set up a committee to look at the viability of nuclear power following the Fukoshima disaster in Japan.  After recent mass demonstrations the German government had come under sustained public pressure to end nuclear power. Meanwhile, Switzerland and Italy have shelved their plans for new reactors.

Merkel said that with its "fundamental" rethink of energy policy, Germany could set an example for other countries. "We believe we as a country can be a trailblazer for a new age of renewable energy sources," the German chancellor was quoted as saying by AFP news agency. This has deservedly been the lead story on the BBC for the last 2 days.

By ending it's reliance on nuclear power generation there will be a gap of 22% of Germany's energy needs that will need to be filled by another cheaper and hopefully (non-polluting) means of energy generation.

I took this opportunity to pose the question to Andrea Rossi, inventor of the ONLY current technology platform capable of achieving this desired outcome - the Energy Catalyzer.

"Dr Rossi, as you may have heard today the big news is that the German government have now announced an end to nuclear power generation by 2022 in the wake of the Fukoshima Nuclear Disaster.  There is no mention of how they will replace 22% of their energy needs in the next 11 years.  Other countries look sure to follow down this path, so they too will need vast amounts of energy to be replaced by other means. Perhaps your e-catalyzer can assist them?"

"Have you had any inquiries to date from foreign governments regarding the use of your new technology for power generation and can you comment on this announcement by the German government.  Is a nuclear free world possible?"

Rossi comments were out of character.  He said " I prefer not to talk about these issues before the 1 MW operational start up." 

Sure, he could just be unwilling to speculate, but normally Rossi reserves his "no comment" responses for matters relating to technical details that address the patent or questions that get too close to describing the internal workings of his reactor. I had thought it to be quite a neutral issue that he would not have had an issue with answering, given that he has no visible, identifiable connections to foreign governments and certainly no approaches by "agencies unknown" have been made public.

So has Rossi been approached already? If the people who are supposedly "in the know" are as informed as they are supposed to be and as we are led to believe, then they will have known about the promise of Rossi's technology long before WE started discussing it in a public forum.  Defkalion's 200 million Euro investment, along with the DoE connections to Ampenergo, not to mention plans to build 2 1Mw Plants should have sent ripples through the underground pond a long time ago. I find it inconceivable and absurd that this is potentially NEWS to "them".

It is more likely that Rossi's technology was identified as an oil / nuclear replacement a long time ago, many months before ANY public announcement was ever made and possibly as far back as late 2009. A technology with the potential to wipe out an energy asset base in the hundreds of TRILLIONS of dollars does not move silently and unnoticed.

E-Catalyzer News: Latest Information Part 3

Andrea Rossi's e-catalyzer technology will change the world as we know it.  The e-catalyzer or (e-cat) is the world's first commercial cold fusion technology in production right now with a 1MW facility due to open in the United States and Greece.

Cold Fusion Device E-Catalyzer Granted Italian Patent

Andrea Rossi's revolutionary new cold fusion technology, the "Energy Catalyzer" which is in full production at this moment, has been granted an Italian patent.

The Italian Patent Office granted a patent for Rossi's energy catalyzer on 6th April.  The patent runs out on April 9th 2028. The granting of the patent is yet another significant step in the acceptance of this legitimate technology on it's path to worldwide acceptance.

Rossi's energy catalyzer or "e-cat" as it is also known, has a power density to cost  ratio which beats all fossil fuel sources hands down, is completely safe and has the added benefit of being scaleable from 2.5Kw to Multi Megawatt facilities. If you couple that with the fact that it's fuel supply (powdered nickel) is so cheap and abundant you can quite clearly see that the energy catalyzer has the ability to revolutionize the world. 

There is no longer any reason to burn oil, coal or gas, except for the fact these fuel sources are already heavily integrated into our existing infrastructure. The biggest problem for the e-cat at the moment is that most people have not came to terms with the fact that it is a real technology and is not a hoax.  This only goes to prove that as a species we are so highly conditioned to reject anything that goes contrary to accepted physics and beliefs.  Those people who still remain sceptical of the validity of the energy catalyzer should re-examine the validations that have occurred to date.

Since January this year there have been no less than 4 highly impressive and successful demonstrations of the energy catalyzer, each time producing Kilowatts of power from just a few hundred watts input. To date there have been successful validations from University Of Bologna, Italy, and tests carried out in the presence of Sven Kullander (Professor Emeritus at Uppsala University) who is also chairman of the National Academy of Sciences Energy Committee and Prof Hanno Essen associate professor of theoretical physics and a lecturer at the Swedish Royal Institute of Technology and chairman of the Swedish Skeptics Society. Essen sits on the committee that decides Nobel prizes for physics and chemistry. 

Those tests conducted showed energy production that massively exceeds the capabilities of ANY possible chemical reaction.  The conclusion from Kullander and Essen was - "Any chemical process for producing 25 kWh from any fuel in a 50 cm3 container can be ruled out. The only alternative explanation is that there is some kind of a nuclear process that gives rise to the measured energy production."

 ”You just have to embrace a new technology that might solve the energy problems of mankind, at least until it can be rejected,” Swedish professor Sven Kullander said in a scientific discussion on the Italian ‘energy catalyzer’.

Rossi has been holding off on disclosing what the secret catalyst in the nickel / hydrogen reaction is until the patents have been granted. Although an Italian patent has been granted Rossi has said he will not speculate on what he thinks is enabling the reaction until nearer the time of the 1MW facility opening.

The Italian patent is a good first step, but there are still issues to be fought with the granting of priceless European and US patents.

Meanwhile, the coverage from mainstream media has been zero (especially strange when you think of recent events in Fukoshima, Japan). To date only a handful of blogs and sites including this one are regularly reporting the news of these world-changing events and recently I asked Rossi if he had any interview requests from major media to which he answered an emphatic "No".

There are always conspiracy theories surrounding the suppression and denial of important information to the general public that could upset the money and power balance of the world.

In this case however it is conspiracy FACT. One hundred and seventeen (117) days and counting of absolute stonewalled silence on arguably the greatest scientific advance in living history.

170 E-Cat Fusion Modules Now Ready For Installation

Today we learned from Andrea Rossi that 170 of the 300 E-Cat Fusion Modules required for the 1MW plant in Greece have been produced.  

Rossi is a very hard working individual and is currently doing 18 hours a day, getting up at 5am and working most of the time in his factory helping to make the E-Cat modules for the opening of the first fusion power facility, or "catalyzer farm".

The plant which is due to open in October this year will consist of 300 E-Cat modules linked together.  The objective is simple: "to make heat".

Yesterday, Rossi's technology was featured on Italian TV News station RAI.  Unfortunately it is not accessible to anyone who doesn't speak Italian. However, it did spread more awareness (at least in Italy) that we have a new primary energy source.

In another intriguing question and answer session on his website, Rossi was asked "Have you ever observed the inside of your reaction chamber through a window of some sort when it is operating? If there is electron movement in the nickel from shell to shell there should be energy jumps which will produce visible photons.The area about the nickel should be illuminated."

Rossi gave a very interesting reply: "Yes, I did. The information about what I saw is confidential."

Meanwhile, the mainstream media are still holding out their record breaking silence on the Rossi story - which is probably the biggest story in a lifetime. Instead of the conveniently overlooked news that we are on the verge of an energy revolution that will affect every man woman and child, we are being fed live CNN coverage of Osama Bin Laden's second death.  The first death he had was in 2002 from Kidney Failure, the second seems to be from the results of being defrosted.

E-Cat To Be Official Launch Name

Yesterday during a question and answer session, Andrea Rossi confirmed to me that his cold fusion technology will be officially named the "E-Cat".  

Up until this point we have known his technology by many names - such as the energy catalyzer, e-catalyzer, Rossi Catalyzer among others, so it was good to finally settle on something the world can agree on. I posed some other questions to Rossi to which he gave quite concise answers.

I asked him if he had "made any agreements / partnerships with official govt agencies eg: DoE to facilitate the rollout / distribution of your technology?" to which he replied NO.  It had been previously postulated that the agreement "of tremendous importance" he recently signed in the USA was a collaboration between his company US based (Leonardo Corp) and the Department Of Energy. Now we know this to be untrue.

Amazingly, (and we say deliberately) Rossi confirmed that he has not been asked for an interview by ANY of the major media networks.   It is blatantly obvious that there is an ongoing deliberate and orchestrated attempt to stop the public becoming aware of Rossi's E-Cat, which when you set it against the backdrop of the recent Fukoshima nuclear disaster, makes the media silence all the more stark. The single most important development in recent history and in a time of crisis, but it's not worthy of mention.


I also asked Rossi if he could give an indication of when the e-cat units would become available for purchase to those in industry who would benefit from the installation of this technology.  His answer was October / November this year.


I posed this particular question due to the volume of emails we are getting asking where and how you can buy an e-cat.  Many of the people interested have their own factories and communities that would benefit from going off-grid. At the moment it is still unclear how the e-cats will be sold and in which countries they will be available, although it is expected that Greece will be leading the field in free energy as we approach 2012.

Hot Fusion Scientist Goes Cold On Rossi Catalyzer

A skeptic who's own career is based around working with hot fusion has stepped out to rubbish the work of Andrea Rossi's team.  Peter Ekström is a senior lecturer in Nuclear Physics at the Faculty of Science, Lund University in Sweden.

His conclusions are that Rossi's e-cat technology is just a scam and that it will be revealed as such within one year from now. In his 4-page "report" Ekstrom compares the Rossi energy catalyzer to Blacklight Power, which according to Ekstrom is pseudoscience fuelled only by gullible investors who believe inventor Randell Mills has discovered "new physics".

In the report Ekstrom also takes care to include a mention for friend of James Randi - Bob Park, establishment defender and debunker of all things that science can't be shaken in a test tube.

He also goes on to claim that Rossi's energy catalyzer conflicts with 100 year old principles of nuclear physics - (how dare it, has it no respect! - Ed.)

Ekstrom hasn't been paying attention, since anyone who's been following the story closely will tell you  that Rossi has publicly stated on radio and via his blog that he is not looking for investors and is completely self-financed with money made from selling his own companies - immediately separating him from ANY comparison with Blacklight Power.


Meanwhile, Ekström's own field of hot fusion has spent tens of billions of tax dollars with nothing to show, and with Rossi's e-cat to ship before the end of the year it could also be the end for any tenure and funding of dollars into the hot fusion furnace.

Ekström's comments completely contrast the positive news this week by fellow Swedish physicists, Essén and Kullander who reported from the demonstration of the e-kitten (a smaller scale version of the e-cat) on the 29th of March.

Their conclusions were vastly different to Ekstrom mostly due to the fact that they ACTUALLY ATTENDED the demonstraion in person and interacted with the equipment unlike Ekstrom.

Kullander and Essen examined the test setup and checked for hidden power supplies.
They were also able to fill the reactor with hydrogen, calibrate the water flow, monitor
other equipment and closely observe the entire experiment.
 
Only 50 grams of nickel powder and a mere 0.11 grams of hydrogen were used in the experiment. They concluded - "We had free access to the heater electric supply, to the inlet water hose, to the outlet steam valve and water hose, and to the hydrogen gas feed pipe. The total weight of the device was estimated to be around 4 kg." An average of 4.69 kW of power was produced for nearly six hours while the average input was around 330 watts.  Roughly calculated to 15 times overunity!

Kullander and Essen also ruled out that the energy could be coming from a chemical source. They stated, "Any chemical process for producing 25 kWh from any fuel in a 50 cm3 container can be ruled out. The only alternative explanation is that there is some kind of a nuclear process that gives rise to the measured energy production."

Hanno Essén, is associate professor of theoretical physics and a lecturer at the Swedish Royal Institute of Technology and chairman of the Swedish Skeptics Society.

Cold Fusion: Rossi Focardi Energy Catalyzer Produces 15Kw over 18 hours

An amazing new experiment using Sergio Focardi And Andrea Rossi's energy catalyzer has been performed producing a minimum of 15Kw over 18 hours. A minimum of 15 kW was produced continually for 18 hours, coming to a total of 270 kWh or 972 MJ.

The experiment was conducted in Bologna, Italy on 10th February and was observed by Dr. Levi himself and other witnesses. This new experiment follows a successful private demonstration of the unit which was previously held on January 14th.

“Now that I have seen the device work for so many hours, in my view all chemical energy sources are excluded,” - Giuseppe Levi.

Bologna University physicist and researcher Dr Giuseppe Levi was present to monitor the experiment.

Levi stated:

“It was pretty impressive in some respects. First, the repeatability. This is the third time I’ve seen the device, and again it produces energy.”

“The second thing is that this time we loaded the unit with hydrogen at the beginning, and then the bottle was closed. It then worked for 18 hours with the bottle closed. Quite impressive.”

“I weighed container before and after charging, and including the gas we let out to empty the tube of air, the consumption of hydrogen was 0.4 grams. That’s nothing!”

“Minimum power was 15 kilowatts, and that’s a conservative value. I calculated it several times.  At night we did a measurement and the device then worked very stable and produced 20 kilowatts.”

“Now that I have seen the device work for so many hours, in my view all chemical energy sources are excluded,” said Giuseppe Levi.

In this particular experiment they opted to heat the water instead of boiling it to avoid any errors.  The initial water temperature was 7 degrees Celsius and for some time the oulet temperature was measured at 40 degrees Celsius.

According to Levi, the input electrical power to 'ignite' the device was about 1250 watts for five to ten minutes. It was then reduced to about 80 watts, equivalent to the power consumption of the control unit.

“This time I opened the control unit (and examined the interior), as someone said that it could contain a hidden battery. And I can swear in court that the box was empty, except for the control electronics – five very simple PLCs – and it weighed about seven kilograms,”

“I have also seen inside the unit itself – most of the volume is isolation, and most of the weight of about 30 kg is due to lead.”

“If I then, using the most accurate methods possible, really see changes in the nuclei, then we have new physics. There is nothing you can say about it,” he said.

Speaking to Swedish Tech Website nyteknik.se Levi said:


“If I were an old professor with his career already done, then I would not have anything to risk. But any attempt at fraud on my part would be a terrible personal goal. What could I hope for? To have a title for ten days, and then be thrown from my own department. Because (the matter of) fraud comes up sooner or later. There is no hope for it. So if I ... well, I would be really stupid. Honestly, I would be really stupid!” said Levi.

Last Saturday scientists at the University of Bologna, Italy, led by Andrea Rossi and Sergio Focardi announced that they developed a viable cold fusion process. 

The demonstration device is capable of producing 12,400 W of heat power with an input of just 400W. A private invitation only press conference was held and the device was demonstrated to the 50 or so witnesses including scientists from the University of Bologna.

In addition, the scientists say they are already beyond the prototype stage and plan to start shipping units within 3 months with mass production by the end of 2011. Despite much higher ratios of output these first commercial devices would produce around 8 units of output for every 1 unit of input in order to safely and reliably operate.

Rossi also stated that they are working on a 1 megawatt facility comprised of 125 reactor modules.

The cost of the energy produced would be cheaper than 1 cent per kWh which is several orders of magnitude cheaper than any conventional fossil fuel energy sources.

Rossi said: “We have passed already the phase to convince somebody,” he wrote in his forum. “We are arrived to a product that is ready for the market. Our judge is the market. In this field the phase of the competition in the field of theories, hypothesis, conjectures etc etc is over. The competition is in the market. If somebody has a valid technology, he has not to convince people by chattering, he has to make a reactor that work and go to sell it, as we are doing.”

The demonstration was also attended by a representative of Defkalion Energy, based in Athens, who said that the company was interested in a 20 kW unit and that within two months they would make a public announcement.

Giuseppe Levi, a nuclear physicist from INFN (Italian National Institute of Nuclear Physics), helped organize last Friday’s demonstration in Bologna. Levi confirmed that the reactor produced about 12 kW and noted that the energy was not of chemical origin since there was no measurable hydrogen consumption. Levi and other scientists plan to produce a technical report on the design and execution of their evaluation of the reactor.

Meanwhile Focardi And Rossi's paper on the reactor has been rejected by peer-reviewed journals on the basis that they don't have a current theory to explain the results of the reaction.

"Rossi and Focardi have applied for a patent that has also been partially rejected in a preliminary report. According to the report, “As the invention seems, at least at first, to offend against the generally accepted laws of physics and established theories, the disclosure should be detailed enough to prove to a skilled person conversant with mainstream science and technology that the invention is indeed feasible."

So here we have once again deliberate acts of sabotage by establishment science against new energy solutions simply because they threaten scientific dogma and fanatical establishment beliefs.

Rather predictably we also have a deafening silence from the world's controlled corporate media who must be wondering how long they can maintain the silence before critical mass is achieved? (if you pardon the pun).

Time after time we are seeing legitimate attempts to bring new energy technologies thwarted by mainstream fear.

If they can get working devices to market this year then none of the mainstream peer review will matter anyway. As Focardi rightly says "he has not to convince people by chattering, he has to make a reactor that work and go to sell it, as we are doing.”

10 Kw Cold Fusion Demo Tomorrow By Physicists At University Of Bologna, Italy

Peer reviewed online journal "The Journal Of Nuclear Physics" has just announce there will be a demonstration of a 10kw cold fusion reaction tomorrow Saturday January 15 at 10 a.m. Italian Time.
