EXCLUSIVE: Is 3M one of the 1MW eCat Customers?

Wednesday, January 18, 2012

In late 2011 we received information from a source that suggested international conglomerate 3M was one of the first customers who purchased a 1MW Industrial eCat (Energy Catalyzer).

The energy catalyzer is a revolutionary LENR technology which uses miniscule amounts of powdered Nickel and pressurized Hydrogen to produce vast amounts of energy.  The energy catalyzer (if verified) has the potential to revolutionize every aspect of life, geopolitics and finance on the planet.

3M are one of the world's largest companies who are very well respected for their products and are internationally known.

3M Headquarters in St Paul, Minnesota

Free Energy Truth put the question directly to 3M for clarification.

We asked - "I’d like to know if 3M have purchased a 1MW eCat reactor from Andrea Rossi (Leonardo Corporation) or have any business relationship with Rossi or his Leonardo Corporation? "

"Andrea Rossi is the inventor of a revolutionary new energy technology LENR (Low Energy Nuclear Reactions). There was talk that the company  that
purchased the reactor was 3M, so I’d like to get clarification from yourselves as to whether this is based in truth or not. Can you provide me with some sort of statement either way on 3M’s position regarding this and any involvement in this new revolutionary energy device?"

Free Energy Truth received the following brief statement via email from a 3M spokesperson at their St Paul Headquarters.

"It is 3M's practice not to discuss our business involving specific individuals or companies.  Thank you."

According to Wikipedia -  "3M has over 80,000 employees, they produce more than 55,000 products, including: adhesives, abrasives, laminates, passive fire protection, dental products, electronic materials, medical products, car care products (such as sun films, polish, wax, car shampoo, treatment for the exterior, interior and the under chassis rust protection)[2], electronic circuits and optical films.[3] 3M has operations in more than 60 countries – 29 international companies with manufacturing operations, and 35 with laboratories. 3M products are available for purchase through distributors and retailers in more than 200 countries, and many 3M products are available online directly from the company."

Rossi: New NE USA eCat Customer Will Be Announced Publicly

Tuesday, November 29, 2011

The latest 1MW eCat Customer Is Happy To Go Public According To Cold Fusion Supremo Andrea Rossi

In a very promising announcement on Rossi's blog today we have something very positive to look forward to - the public disclosure of a North Eastern USA based company who have purchased one of Rossi's 1MW ecat plants.

  • Herb Gillis

How long do you think it will be before there is a 1MW customer that is willing to talk about their experiences with the product and act as a reference? Having another customer out there who is willing to act as a reference could provide tremendous leverage. This would be far more valuable than any public test. It would silence the skeptics forever.

Dear Herb Gills:

Today we sold in the USA a 1 MW plant which will go to a normal Customer. This installation will be visitable by the qualified public.

We wait to have completed the contractual procedure through the attorneys, then we will give communication. It will be in the North East of the USA, where I have been in these days.

Warm Regards
AR

Previously we had heard that Rossi's trip to Massachusetts had not been fruitful, but it looks like this new customer was picked up there. So which large companies in NE USA would be interested in buying a 1MW fusion reactor? You decide.

Rossi: No More eCat Public Tests

Thursday, November 10, 2011

Andrea Rossi has confirmed that there will be no more public tests of his eCat technology.

He has of course said this before and then ended up doing more public tests, so there is every reason to believe that this situation will change.  With huge public interest in this and a recent media feeding frenzy it is hard to imagine no more public tests.

He said

"Dear UClaimExcessEnergy:

Again lecturing about tests !!! We receive 5 to 10 proposals per day to make tests around the world, most of them from competitors, of course. Please, read carefully:

1- we made all the tests we had to make
2- no more public tests will be made, the phase of public tests is over for us
3- we now are no more making test-prototypes, but industrial products
4- the tests of our E-Cats from now on will be made exclusively by our Customers
5- all our next work with Universities (Bologna, Uppsala) will not be public, but restricted and confidential Research and Development activity.

Warm Regards,

Andrea Rossi"

eCat Self Sustained at Half A Megawatt With No Input For Over 5 Hours

Saturday, October 29, 2011

In yesterday's test of the 1MW eCat plant, after a period of time it Self-Sustained With No Input Power For Over 5 Hours While Producing an astonishing 470 Kwh/ph. 100 smaller eCatalyzers made up the whole plant which is housed inside a shipping container.

"According to the customer’s controller, Domenico Fioravanti, the plant released 2,635 kWh during five and a half hours of self sustained mode, which is equivalent to an average power of 479 kilowatts – just under half the promised power of one megawatt." NY Teknik

"There were some issues, so it couldn't be run at full power in self-looped mode, but what it did do was plenty impressive." - Sterling Allan, PESWIKI

On completion of the test. Small water leak is visible.

Breakthrough

On completion of the test Rossi was asked if he thought it was a breakthrough:

"If I think the test of today is a breakthrough? I think yes, yes because today we have seen no more small 5 or 10 kw unit, but now we have overcame the difficulties connected with the basic engineering to make something to go in self sustaining mode to make 400 Kwh per hour."

"You can also think that hundreds of Billions of dollars have been spent to try to have a cop of 1,1 with nuclear fusion. Today we have made a theoretically endless CoP making 470 Kwh per hour of completely free energy, free of fuel and yes, I think this is a breakthrough. Of course this is the first step, but it is a very important first step."

The Customer Report

According to the report the test was met with approval from the customer and the 1MW plant will now be shipped to the customer. it will then undergo further tests
in order to develop the technology.

There is still no real indication who the customer is, but clearly marked at the top of the report and then subsequently scored out with a pen is the word "colonel" in front the controller's name Fioravanti. Rossi indicated that the customer belongs to one specific category of organisations, and the title Colonel could be an indication that the customer is military - although this is by no means confirmed.

There is speculation on the possible customer identity however. An observant person noticed that in the properties section of the attached Excel datasheet that was posted was the author's name: a large Bologna company called "Manutencoop Facility Management", however they may not be the actual customer, but just a company contracted to help out on the day.

University Of Bologna / Uppsalla Testing

Rossi has confirmed that the testing by Bologna University and Upssalla can now start
under an agreed research contract

Let's Make History: eCat 1MW Fusion Test Starts Today

Friday, October 28, 2011

Today in Bologna something very special will happen that could potentially touch the lives of everyone on the planet.

Andre Rossi's 1MW eCat Plant will begin operation in a series of tests designed to prove the technology to the US based customer - and more importantly to the waiting world.  A successful test of the 1MW Energy Catalyzer should be enough to take us into a new era of cheap, clean energy generation, possibly triggering a positive economic tide to lift all ships.

The only clue we have to the identity of the mystery customer who is in charge of the tests came from blogger Daniele Passerini yesterday when he said "it is a well-known and largest industrial group". Yesterday we speculated that it could be General Electric and duly sent off a press inquiry to them, however as of this date we have not recieved a reply.

Rossi confirmed on his blog that he is raring to go with a "We are  Ready!" proclamation. But this time Rossi will take more of a back seat during these tests.

Rossi: "We Are Ready!"

RockEye October 27th, 2011
Dear Mr. Rossi I just want to wish you good luck and go change the world tomorrow!!

October 27th, 2011

Dear RockEye:

Thank you: now it’s 4 p.m. of the 27th, and we are finishing the cosmetics of the plant. I think tomorrow we will make, with the help of God, a good job. My work, basically, is finished. Within one hour the Consultants of the Customer will arrive to start the check of all the parts of the plant and prepare all their stuff for the test of tomorrow. Until some hour ago I felt a strong pressure, now, at the eve of the battle, as usual, I am recovering all my coldness and calm. We are ready. Warm Regards, A.R.

Brad Arnold sums the mood up perfectly when he said:
"I don’t think it is too grandiose to say the hopes and dreams of countless people alive now, and that are yet unborn, are on Rossi this week. The importance of this occasion can not be overstated.

I pray the “customer” will quickly commercialize the e-cat “container” when it checks out. The sooner it is proven via the only certain way (i.e. successful commercialization), the sooner the R&D departments of countless corporations around the world will kick in and start integrating it to various applications. Cars, ships, desalination plants, home heaters, power plants, portable electrical generators, water heaters…the applications are endless and the world is waiting."

In addition to the people listed we are told that there will be "prominent scientific journalists" in attendance, so let your mind wander on that one for a bit. If the test goes to plan and the customer is happy, then over the next few weeks the ripples from this will spread out like a tsunami as people start to take notice.  It's hard to imagine how the media silence can be maintained on the back of unquestionable proof of a new clean primary energy waiting to be tapped.

Safety
There is always the question of safety when you are dealing with super-heated steam, but Rossi has always maintained that the eCat has very good safety built in should anything go wrong.  But this is a slightly different proposition. 52 eCats running simultaneously inside a shipping container is a whole different ballgame.  Hopefully all will go well on the night regarding the safety of the participants.

Live Webcam?

We still do not have any indication if there will definitely be a live webcam feed of the test - email us at ecat@overunity.co if you know differently and we'll put the link up for everyone to see.

Hourly Updates On Rossi's Blog

We are told there will be hourly updates of all the goings on over at Rossi's Blog. Where exactly, remains a mystery.
Don't know about you, but I'm off to stock up on popcorn.
